TV is on but won't turn off when I press the power button. What should I do?
Answer:
If your
TV is on but will not power off when you press the power button, you could be having an issue with
your remote control, the power button on your TV, or a faulty circuit inside
your TV.
To determine
the source of your problem, follow these steps:
- Power
the TV on if it is off.
- Unplug
the TV from the wall outlet for 1 minute, and then plug the TV back in.
- Press
the POWER button on the remote control, and then press the POWER
button on the TV.
- If
the TV powers off when you press the POWER button on the remote
control, then there is a problem with the power button on the TV. Click

- If
the TV powers off when you press the POWER button on the TV,

- If
the TV does not power off when you press either the POWER button
