Question:

My TV is on but won't turn off when I press the power button. What should I do?

Answer:

If your TV is on but will not power off when you press the power button, you could be having an issue with your remote control, the power button on your TV, or a faulty circuit inside your TV.

To determine the source of your problem, follow these steps:

  1. Power the TV on if it is off.
  2. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 1 minute, and then plug the TV back in.
  3. Press the POWER button on the remote control, and then press the POWER button on the TV.
