Warning:
Improper wall mounting of your TV can lead to damaged or broken property, bodily
injury or death. If at any time you are unable to or do not feel confident that
you can complete any step in this guide STOP IMMEDIATLY! Place the TV in a safe
location and contact a professional.
Important:
Depending on the mount you have purchased the instructions may differ from the
steps in this guide. In these circumstances follow the instructions that came
with your wall mount. For any questions contact the manufacturer of the wall
mount.
Tips:
- When
wall mounting the height that you wall mount will depend on the height of
your seating, how far away the seating area is, and the amount of tilt your
wall mount has. The average height for a TV on a stand is 36" to the
center of the screen. Mounting the TV to high can lead to a bad
viewing experience due to neck and eye strain. We recommend having two people
hold the TV at the height you would like to mount it at while you are seated
and see if the position of the set is too high etc.
- Remember
to label both ends of any cables that you run through the wall.
This make identification easier when connecting devices to your TV or
when troubleshooting a problem.
- After following all the
instructions that came packed with your wall mount for mounting the wall plate,
we need to attach
the wall brackets to the TV. Using a Phillips head screw driver remove
any screws that may be in the wall mounting holes.

- Most
wall mounts will use a bracket style mounting system these brackets will
have holes and slots up and down the rail which allows you to place the
rails at different levels to easily adjust the height of the TV on the wall.
Place the rails at the same height on the rear of the TV, then use the wall
mount's supplied screws and washers to secure the brackets to the rear of the TV.
Important:
If your bracket differs from this style, follow the instructions that came
with your wall mount.

Tip: Some
installations will require the use of spacers. These spacers and the longer screws come packaged
with the wall mount.
- With
the brackets already attached and with the help of an assistant lift your TV up and Hook the top of
the brackets onto the wall plate.
Important:
Please refer to the wall mount instruction manual for this step. If the
instructions differ from these instructions follow the instructions that came with the wall mount.

- Most
wall mounts will have some type of locking mechanism to secure the TV
to the wall plate. Follow the instructions that came with your wall
