Answer:
Internet@TV
brings useful and entertaining content and services directly from the web to
your player such as news, weather forecasts, stock market quotes, games, movies
and music.
This
article assumes the following:
- Blu-ray
is powered ON and connected to your TV and the TV is set to the input
where the Blu-ray player is connected. For instructions on connecting
your Blu-ray player to your TV, click here.
To
activate Internet@TV service, follow the steps below.
- Using
the left and right arrow buttons on your Blu-ray remote move to the Internet@TV
option and then press enter. Alternatively you can press the Internet@
button on the BD remote to launch Internet@TV.

- A
series of messages appear on the bottom left corner of the TV screen showing
the current state. The messages that are displayed toggle between
starting>downloading>installing>starting. This process takes about 5
minutes depending on your network speed.

- The
main Internet@TV menu is displayed with a message ‘Connect to the internet
and enjoy a variety of contents…’ which is shortly replaced with the Internet@TV
General disclaimer and Privacy policy. This takes about a minute
or less depending on network connection.

- The
General Disclaimer and Internet@TV privacy policies are displayed, if
you agree select ‘Agree’ and then press enter, otherwise you will be returned
to the previous menu.

- The
Internet@TV service prompts you to update, press enter on the BD remote
to select ‘OK’ and begin downloading the included free apps.

- A
progress bar is displayed as each of the 6 apps is installed. The 6 included
apps are: USA Today, Accuweather, YouTube, Blockbuster, Pandora, and Netflix. This installation process takes about 3-5 minutes depending on your
network speed.

- Once
completed the last prompt appears confirming the installed services, press
the enter button on the BD remote to select ‘OK’ and complete the installation.

- The
main Internet@TV menu is displayed with icons for each of the available
services you’ve downloaded. To get started select one of the services
and follow the on screen prompts to set up your account.
Notes:
- Samsung
Electronics shall take no legal responsibility for any interruption of the
Internet@TV service caused by the service provider for any reason.
- The
Internet@TV service is used to download and process data via the Internet
so that you can enjoy the contents on your TV screen. If the Internet connection
is unstable, the service may be delayed or interrupted. Furthermore, the
player may be turned off automatically. If this is the case, check the internet
connection and try again.
- The
application service may be provided in English only and the contents available
may vary, depending on the area.
- When
you use an application, the Full Screen button on the remote control does
not operate, this is normal.
- For
more information about the Internet@TV service, visit the web site of the
applicable service provider.
- The
services provided are subject to change, depending on the Internet@TV app
service provider.
- The
Internet@TV service contents may differ according to the firmware version.
- For-a-fee
DivX contents with copy protection can only be played using an HDMI cable.
If you have connected your player to your TV using component or composite
cables, the player will not be able to output the divX video signal and
you will see a blank screen or the popup message 'cannot play current file'.
