do I activate Smart Hub on my Samsung Blu-ray player?
Answer:
In order to activate Smart Hub you will need:
- Your Blu-ray Player connected to your TV. Click here for information
on connecting your Blu-ray Player to your TV.
- A wired or wireless network connection. Click here to set up a network
connection.
Once your Blu-ray Player is properly connected to your TV and a network connection,
follow the steps below to activate Smart Hub.
- Using the ◀ and ▶ arrow buttons on your remote, scroll to the Smart
Hub icon and press Enter/
.

- Your TV screen will go black and the words Starting, Downloading and
Installing will appear while Smart Hub installs itself on your player.
- Once Smart Hub has successfully loaded, the 'Terms of Service Agreement'
windows will appear. The first window is the 'General Disclaimer'. If
you agree, select Agree and press Enter.

- The 'Privacy Policy' screen appears. If you agree, select Agree and press
Enter.

- A window will appear stating 'Smart Hub needs to be updated'. The Blu-ray
will then add all the necessary apps, such as, Netflix, Vudu, Pandora, Facebook,
etc.
Note: It may take up to a minute for the update screen to appear
depending on your connection.
- When the Service Update is complete, press Enter to select OK.
- Smart
Hub is now activated. The next step is to create an account.
