Samsung's new Netflix Ready player's let you choose from thousands of movies and TV programs online to be instantly streamed to your TV. Choose as many as you want with no late fees and no commercials.

Requirements

  • Network Connection (Wired or Wireless, depending on Blu-ray Player), for instructions click here go to the Network Setup And Usage section of this guide.
  • High-speed Internet connection (2.4 Mbps for DVD quality, 5 Mbps for HD quality, select titles only).
  • An active Netflix plan that allows viewing of unlimited online content, to sign up click here to visit Netflix.

Important: You’ll need your PC to complete the activation process.

Activate your Player

To activate your new or existing Netflix account, follow these steps:

    • If you need instructions for connecting your Blu-ray player to your TV, click here to go to the Connections section of this guide.
    • If you need instructions for connecting your Blu-ray player to your Network, click here to go to the Network Setup And Usage section of this guide.
  1. Power on your player and tune your TV to the input that your Blu-ray player is connected to. For example, if using HDMI select the HDMI input on your TV. Often this button is labeled as input/source/line in on your TV remote. However, if you're not sure, refer to the TV's user manual.
  2. Wait until the e-contents menu is displayed, and then, using your Blu-ray remote, press the B button to select Netflix. The Disclaimer notice screen appears.
  1. Select your country and then press Enter on your Blu-ray remote. This is followed by a series of 9 setup screens detailing the terms of the disclaimer in several different languages. Click next on each of these screens.
  1. The last screen appears. If you agree with the terms, click 'Agree' to continue with the Netflix setup, otherwise you will be returned to the main menu.
  1. The Netflix registration screen appears.
    • Existing Netflix Customers: Using the arrow buttons on your Blu-ray remote control, scroll to 'Yes - activate instant streaming from Netflix', and then press Enter. A unique activation code is displayed.

    • New Netflix Customers: Use the arrow buttons on the remote control to select 'no - start my free trial', and then press Enter. Go to www.netflix.com/samsung, click "Start Your Free Trial Now!",  follow the instructions to create an account online, and then return to the player and select "I'm now a member". A unique activation code will be displayed.

  1. The Activation Screen and a unique activation code is displayed on your TV.
  1. Enter your code at www.netflix.com/activate using your PC. Activation takes about a minute. Once your account has been activated, a confirmation screen is displayed and you can begin adding movies to your Instant Queue.

Add movies and TV programs to your Netflix Instant Queue

Your "Instant Queue" is where you store the movies and TV programs you want to stream to your Blu-ray player. Titles placed in your Instant Queue are "instantly available" for viewing on your television.

Note: Movies and TV programs you want to stream to your Blu-ray player must be added by accessing your Netflix account from your PC and adding titles to your 'Instant Queue'. You cannot add titles to your 'Instant Queue' directly from the Blu-ray player.

Viewing on your Blu-ray Player

Using your Blu-ray remote control, select Netflix from the Blu-ray player's menu or at the e-contents screen press the B button. Using the ◀ and ▶ arrow buttons on your Blu-ray remote, scroll through the movies in your Instant Queue and press Enter to select a title and begin watching. Your selection will begin within 30 seconds, depending on your internet speed.
