MAC Address Test Fails
Cyber

A MAC address (Media Access Control) is a unique identifier/code assigned to Network adapters or Network interface cards by the manufacturer.

The MAC address is provided by the Samsung external or built-in wireless adapter. if the MAC address fails it may be caused by the following:

  • External or Built-in Wireless Adapter is failing or defective.
  • USB Host Port is failing (when using a Samsung wireless adapter).

To determine what is causing the MAC address to fail, begin with ‘Step 1: Resetting The Blu-ray Player’. For troubleshooting purposes we will reset the Blu-ray player and restore all settings to factory default settings. Failure to complete this step may cause conflicting results.
