A MAC address (Media Access Control) is a unique identifier/code assigned to most Network adapters or Network interface cards by the manufacturer.  

The MAC address may fail for the following reasons:

  • Network option is set incorrectly.
  • Blu-ray player needs to be reset.
  • Blu-ray player requires service.
