When using a manual setup, make sure that all the information entered into the Blu-ray Player matches the information from the router or the two will not communicate. Ensure that the network settings match your router's network information.

For example:

A Linksys routers default settings are:

IP Address:

192.168.1.1

Subnet Mask:

255.255.255.0

DNS:

192.168.1.1

So, if you are using a Linksys router, you would enter similar information to the chart below into your Blu-ray Player.

IP Address:

192.168.1.109

Subnet Mask:

255.255.255.0

Gateway:

192.168.1.1

DNS:

192.168.1.1

Important: The above numbers are an example. The last three digits of the IP Address (109 in the above example) will change depending on the Blu-ray Player's assigned place on the router.

If you do not know the correct settings for your router, you can review your router's user manual or contant your router manufacturer.
