Question:

What should I do if my Access Point is not showing up in the available networks?

Answer:

Power cycling a network helps to refresh the network and can clear up many problems a customer is having.

To power cycle a customers network follow the steps below.

  1. Unplug the modem and router. Power off the Blu-ray Player and remove the Wireless USB Adapter (Dongle). Allow all devices to remain unplugged for 30 seconds.
  2. Plug the modem first and allow it to power on completely. Wait for all indicator lights to light up.
  1. Plug in the router. Again, wait for all indicator lights to light up.
  1. After both the modem and router are completely powered up, turn on the Blu-ray Player and attempt to connect to the network again.
