Question:
How
does the Energy Saver option work on my TV and when should I use it?
Answer:

The
energy saver option will adjust the brightness of the TV based on the picture
bing displayed. For
example:
If an image of the night sky is being displayed the TV will dim the TV's backlight
to save energy because most of the screen is supposed to be black. If an image
of the desert is being displayed the TV would brighten back to it's original
setting to display the picture correctly. Sometimes this changing of brightness
can interfere with the veiwing expereince. If you do not want the TV to adjust
automatically to the incoming signal select a setting other than auto.
