Question:

What is Auto Volume feature and how does it work? Can it fix all volume issues?

Answer:

The Auto Volume feature is for channel to channel sound stabilization. When the feature is turned on, it helps with volume fluctuations when changing channels. This prevents a dramatic increase or decrease of the decible level of the audio from the TV speakers.

Note: This feature has no effect on the in-channel differences. For example: When watching a show that jumps to commercial, the commercial is 1 or 2 times louder than the normal broadcast. The feature will have no effect on this situation

Terms:

Auto Volume - A feature that stabilizes sound levels between channels.

Decibel (dB) - A unit of measurement for sound intensity/volume.

In-channel difference - Variations in volume within a single channel (e.g., between a show and its commercials).
