Question:

How does the "Speaker Select" feature work?

Answer:

This feature is used to mute the internal speakers in certain situations. This would be useful if you have a audio reciever/Home Theatre System. This helps eliminate an "echo" that can be produced when you are using both the TVs speakers and your Home Theatre System. There are two options with speaker select: "TV Speaker" and "External Speaker". The TV is on "TV Speakers" by default. "External Speaker" Mutes the TVs internal speakers.

Note: When External Speaker is selected, you will not be able to use the volume or mute buttons. The screen will say "Not Available" because the TV has released control of the audio to the Home Theatre System.
