The
security feature is another name for the V-Chip on the TV. V-Chip will allow
you to set rating limitations for rated programs.
Important:
- This
function is only available when you are using the TV (Coax) input on the
TV. This function is not available with any other connection.
- This
feature can only block programs that carry a rating. If the program does
not carry a rating then the V-Chip feature cannot block it.
To
access the Security function:
- Select
'Security' from the 'Setup' portion of the Main Menu, and then press ENTER.
- Using
the number pad on the remote enter your PIN. The default PIN for the TV
is 0000 if you have not changed the PIN use the default PIN.
- You
will enter the Security Menu.
Select
the portion of the security menu you would like to know more about.
