How To Set The TV To The RF Output Channel
Cyber

The only time that you would have to leave your TV on a specific channel would be if the RF connection were used. Any other connection requires you to hit the SOURCE button to put your TV on the correct input. If you are using an RF connection from your cable or satellite box, you have to leave your television on an RF Output channel specified by your cable or satellite provider. After you find out which channel you use, follow the steps below to set your TV to the proper channel.

  1. Look at the back of your TV to see if it has 1 or 2 RF connections.
  2. If there are 2 inputs on the back of your TV, make sure the RF cable is connected from the cable/ satellite box to the AIR input for satellite and the CABLE input for cable.
  3. Using the Samsung TV remote (not the cable/ satellite remote), turn the TV on and then press the 2 digit number of your output channel. For example, if your RF output channel is 3, press 0-3.
Note: If you get a "Not Available" Message when you enter the channel number, the TV is set to the wrong input. You must change to the correct input before completing Step 3. To change over to the correct input press [Source] one or more times until you see:
    • TVs with 1 RF Input- Air, STD, HRC, or IRC
    • TVs with 2 RF Inputs- AIR or CABLE
  4. If you have a TV with 2 RF inputs you may have to hit the ANTENNA button on your remote to switch between the AIR to the CABLE inputs before the picture will come in. If the TV is not on the correct RF input you will have to repeat Step 3 for your picture to come in.
