How To Program in Digital Stations
Cyber

Depending on the type of antenna you are using and the location of each digital over- the-air broadcaster in your area, you may need to adjust the direction of your antenna to receive digital stations.

Also, you will not be able to view the digital stations immediately. Digital stations need to be what is called "mapped" by the tuner. For the tuner in your TV to map over-the-air digital channels, you must run the auto program (channel memorization process) feature.

If you already receive digital over-the-air channels, and you adjust your antenna to receive other digital over-the-air channels, you must also run an auto channel memorization to map the channels into your TV’s tuner.

Note: Because of the mapping needed for digital stations you will not be able to manually add a digital station like you would an analog station.

Note: You may be able to avoid adjusting your antenna and re-running the auto channel memorization process if you have an antenna that receives digital channels from multiple directions.
