Question:

How to troubleshoot a color problem?

Answer:

To determine the cause of the color problem, follow these steps:

Determine the connection type:

If using an external set-top-box or Coax (RF), proceed to step 1a.

If using a different external device (e.g., DVD player, Blu-Ray player, game system), skip to step 3.

Test different channels:

If the problem doesn't occur on other channels, contact your service provider. It's likely a signal issue.

If the problem occurs on other channels, continue to step 2b.

Test both HD and SD stations:

If the problem occurs on only one format (HD or SD), contact your service provider. It's likely a signal issue.

If the problem occurs on both HD and SD stations, continue to step 4.

Test a different source:

Examples include a DVD player, Blu-Ray player, game system, etc.

If the problem doesn't occur on the second source, it may be caused by a TV setting on the original source. Troubleshoot your TV settings.

If the problem occurs on the second source, it could be caused by a picture setting in your TV or a malfunction. Troubleshoot your TV settings.
