Question:

How can I fix color issues with my external device?

Answer:

Many external devices have their own video processors and scalers. You may be able to change or adjust the picture in the settings of your external device. Unfortunately, we cannot provide specific instructions for every device due to the variety of products available. Below are some common settings that, if changed, can cause color problems on your TV:

Color Space: Refers to the color gamut that the external device is outputting (options may include RGB, xvYCC, Auto, etc.). For testing purposes, try setting this option to RGB.

HDMI Color: Similar to color space, options typically include Expanded, Wide, and Normal. Try setting this option to Normal for testing.

White Balance: Affects the color of white, which in turn affects all other colors on the screen. Adjusting this setting can help correct color issues.

If these settings do not resolve the issue or are not present on your external device, please see "Defective Cabling" in this guide.
