The Screen Is All White, Black, Or Another Solid Color

      Question:

What should I do if my LCD TV shows a single color screen?

      Answer:

Turn on the TV and wait for the single color screen to appear.

Press the MENU button on the remote control or on the TV.

      Check if the menu appears.

If the menu appears, the TV is working correctly and the single color screen is due to the connected device (e.g., DVD player, cable box). Ensure your connections are secure and contact the device's manufacturer for further assistance.

If the menu does not appear, proceed to step 4.

As the white screen is caused by the TV, it requires repair. Click the "Create online service request" button to have the TV fixed.

      Terms:

Single color screen: A display issue where an LCD TV shows only one color instead of displaying a proper image.

MENU button: A button on the remote control or TV that opens the main menu for settings and options.

Connected device: Devices such as DVD players or cable boxes that are linked to the TV for media playback.
