Question:
What
should the customer do when their TV displays a "Locked" message and
no buttons work?
Answer:
There
are some people the have reported that their TV says "Locked" whenever
a button is press and they cannot do anything with the TV. If you have a customer
with this problem please have them send a picture of the message to LCDTVFeedback@sea.samsung.com
This
problem is not actually a problem with TV and this situation is caused by signal
from the customers Set-Top-Box (STB).
After
taking a picture of the problem follow these steps;
- With
the TV ON unplug the TV from the wall outlet.

- Wait
30 seconds then plug the TV back in and test.
- If
the problem is resolved this is the end of troubleshooting.
- If
the problem is not resolved continue to Step 3.
- Unplug
the STB for 30 seconds.
- If
the problem is resolved this is the end of troubleshooting.
- If
the problem is not resolved have the customer contact their STB provider.
