Question:
Why does my TV show old images from my USB
thumb drive after I've updated it with new ones?
Answer:
Wiselink
Storage
Some customers
have reported that after they disconnect their USB thumb drive from the Wiselink
port on their TV, and then remove the original images from that thumb drive
and replace them with new ones, that when they re-insert the thumb drive into
the TV, the TV displays the original images, even though these images have been
removed from the drive.
This is
normal, and sometimes occurs while Wiselink is loading data. Your television
has a cache memory where it stores previously loaded files for quick loading
and display. Sometimes, it displays images from the cache while it loads new
images. After the television is done loading, it should display the current
images from your thumb drive.
Note:
When Wiselink is loading data, your TV displays Loading in the upper right of
the screen. When Wiselink is done loading, your TV displays Complete. When it
displays Complete, you should see only the current images from your thumb drive
on your TV.
