If the menu appears, your TV is powered on, but is not on the correct source or not receiving a signal. To troubleshoot the problem, follow these steps:

Note: You may not need to complete all the steps to resolve your problem.

  1. Press the SOURCE button on your remote and see if your TV is set to the same source as the connected device. If it is not, set it to the correct source.
  2. 1. The Menu Appears (Verified)(367336) 1.bmp

For Example: If you have connected your cable box to HDMI 1 make sure that the TV source is set to HDMI 1. If your TV is set to the correct source and you still have no picture, continue to Step 2.

  1. Now that your TV is set to the correct source, make sure that the cables are firmly connected to the input on the back of your TV and the output on your external device. If you still do not have a picture continue to Step 3.
  2. Soft reset the exteral device.
    1. Unplug the external device for 30 seconds.
    2. Plug the external device back in.
    3. Power the external device back on.

If you still have no picture, continue to Step 4.

  1. Test other devices connected to the TV and see if they are displaying an image. For Example: Test a DVD player, Game System, VCR, etc.
    • If you do not have a secondary device to test with the TV we cannot confirm that the television has failed. Please contact the manufacturer of the external device for additional support or obtain a secondary device to test with.
    • If you have a picture with this device then the original device is defective and will need service. If you still do not have a picture with the secondary device, continue to Step 5.
  1. Replace the connecting cable with a new or known working cable. If you still do not have an image on the TV, then the input on your TV or some other internal component could be defective and your TV needs to be serviced. Please click the "Create Online Service Request" button below to begin the service process.
