Any Other Connection Method

Question:

What should I do if I am using an external device and receiving a weak or no signal message?

Answer:

Follow these steps:

Ensure the device is powered ON and try unplugging and replugging it.

Turn on the TV and press the SOURCE button until you reach the input connected to the device (e.g., HDMI 3).

Check your cable connection (click here for instructions).

Test another source on the same connection. For example, if the cable box doesn't work on HDMI 1, try connecting the Blu-ray player to HDMI 1; if it works, the issue is with the original device, not the TV. Contact the device manufacturer for help. If the second device also has issues, the TV may require servicing.

Terms:

External device - A device outside of the TV, such as a cable box or Blu-ray player.

Weak or no signal - Indicates poor reception or complete loss of the video/audio feed.
