I Hear The Audio But It Is Very Low

Low TV  volume is often caused by one of the following: 

  • A  volume control on an external device that is turned down.
  • An audio ouput setting on the external device.
  • A device that is not connected properly to the TV.
  • A defective audio cable.

Note: The most common reason is the first one. If this is the case, you usually hear a hiss from your TV's speakers when you turn the volume up. 

Test the audio from a different external device (example: DVD player, VCR, Game Syster, etc.) if the audio level is fine from a different device continue troubleshooting below. If the volume is still low with the secondary device your television may require service click on the "Create New Service" button below to begin the service process.
