Question:
How
to fix low TV volume?
Answer:
Low TV
volume is often caused by:
- A
device that is not connected properly to the TV
- A volume control on an external device that is turned down.
The most
common problem is the second one. If this is the case, you
usually hear a hiss from your TV's speakers when you turn the volume up.

to Your TV
To
raise the volume, follow these steps:
- Turn the volume on the TV down to a reasonable level (around 15).
- Press VOL
+ on the connected device (not the remote) until it is all of the way up.

- Adjust the TVs volume to meet your requirements.
Important:
If you do
not turn the volume on the TV down before adjusting the volume on the device you
have connected to it, you could blow the speakers in the TV.
Testing
a Secondary Device

you have tried turning up the volume on your original device and it has not
affected the volume on the TV test with a secondary device such as a DVD player,
Game system, VCR, etc.
- If
your TV does not have an audio problem with the secondary device then your
original device either has an audio setting set incorrectly or is defective.
Please contact the manufacturer of your original device for further assistance.
