How to check if my Samsung washing machine has a spin cycle and how to run it?

Answer:

All Samsung washing machines have a Spin Only cycle.

• Some models (like the WF410 - see image below) have Spin Only as a dedicated setting on their cycle selector.

• Other models (like the WF220 - see image below) do not have Spin Only listed on their cycle selector, but the machine can still run a Spin Only cycle.

Run a Spin Only Cycle

SOLUTION 2:

To run a Spin Only cycle on a model where the option is displayed, simply use the cycle selector to select it. Then, touch the Start button.


To run a Spin Only cycle on a model that does not display this option, please do the following:

1. Power the washer on.

2. Press and hold the Spin key for 2 - 3 seconds. Once the chime sounds, the washer will now be in Spin Only mode.

3. The display will show how many minutes the Spin Only cycle will last (for example, in the image above, the time setting shows "9 minutes").

4. If you want to adjust this time, simply press the Spin button to cycle through the pre-selected time options. See the chart below for a list of the time settings for each wash cycle.

5. Press Start.
