Washer Runs Continuously, keeps resetting the time, jumping the time, jumps time, never finish the cycle, stuck on rinse and spin

Question:

How to troubleshoot when the washer runs continuously?

Answer:

Check if the washer is leveled correctly.

Ensure proper loading (not overloading or underloading) to prevent imbalance.

Add 4-5 towels and run a Rinse and Spin cycle.

If the cycle doesn't complete and resets the time, service is needed.

Terms:

Leveling - Adjusting the feet of the washer so that it stands evenly on the surface.

Overloading - Putting too much laundry in the washer at once.

Underloading - Putting too little laundry in the washer at one time.

Rinse and Spin cycle - A washing cycle that only performs rinsing and spinning actions without washing.

Service - Requiring assistance from a qualified technician for repair or maintenance.
