Question:
Why am I unable to select certain settings
when using a specific cycle on my Samsung washer?
Answer:
- It is normal to be unable to select certain options when using a particular cycle. This is because cycles have pre-selected settings that allow for some customization (Temperature, Spin Speed, Soil Level), but you cannot always select every single option.
- The options are limited based on the cycle selected. If you are unable to select a certain temperature, spin speed, or soil level for a cycle, then the machine does not allow those options for that cycle.
- For example, if you select the Wool Cycle, you won't be able to change temperature setting. Or, if you have selected the Delicate Cycle, you won't be able to change the Spin speed. This is because Samsung washers are designed to give optimal performance. Certain settings (such as a high spin during the Delicate cycle) could potentially damage the clothing. Therefore, the machine prevents them from being selected.
- The User Manual will always have a chart in the back which shows which customizable options are available for each cycle.
