How can I set custom message tones for my contacts
on my Samsung device?
Answer:
If you want to add or assign a dedicated message tone to your contacts, please follow the steps below.
- Open a conversation in Messages. This will only work with the Samsung Messages app. If you use a downloaded app, or one provided by your carrier, it may have similar options. Open Messages, and then tap a conversation with your desired contact.
- Tap More options (the three vertical dots), and then tap Notification sound.
- Choose your desired notification from the list, and then tap Back. That contact will now have a custom notification sound.
