Auto Fill Water Pitcher Not Working [Does not Fill, Not Filling, 76 C/E Error]

PROBLEM:

Auto Fill Pitcher Not Working
 

SOLUTION:
 

1.  Is the pitcher not filling at all or filling partially?

 Not filling at all: Proceed to next step.

 Filling partially: Make sure there is no condensation in the pitcher, and that the water pitcher is properly inserted in its designated place.

Note: If the water pitcher has too much moisture inside, the water pitcher may not fully fill (see picture below)

2.  Is the "Auto Fill Pitcher" activated?

     YES, proceed to next step.

     NO, please turn it ON.

Note: The pitcher won't fill if the door is not completely closed.

3.  Is the child lock activated?

 YES, please deactivate it.

 NO, Proceed to next step.

Note: When "Lock" is activated, the main panel will be disabled and the "Lock" indicator, will turn ON.

When locked, the indicator blinks if any button on the main panel is pressed.

If you press and hold the "Lock" button again for more than 3 seconds, "Lock" will be deactivated.

However, "Lock" will be reactivated if no button is pressed within 1 minute.

4.  Is the water dispenser or ice maker functioning?

 YES, it means the water flow is ok, please make sure the water pressure is at least 30 psi (206 kPa), 1 glass of water should not take longer than 20 seconds to fill.

 NO, this could be an issue with water supply or water filter (see user manual), if the water supply was recently installed, please ask customer to call installer back to verify.

5.  Any Error Codes?

76 C/E: Auto Fill Pitcher Overflow Error.

If water spill or leak around the pitcher holder assembly, the overfill sensor will detect that and produce a beep sound or an error code.

To fix this: remove the pitcher and inspect for cracks and damages, wipe the water pitcher holder area, have a dry towel ready, open the rubber cap to drain the water (see pictures below)

6.  If none of the steps above fixed the issue, please book a service call.
