Unable To Send Or Receive Emails On Samsung Phone

PROBLEM 1:

Cannot send emails on the phone

 

SOLUTION 1:

If your phone is not sending emails, removing and reinstalling the account may fix the problem.

1. Navigate to and open Settings. Tap Accounts and backup, and then tap Accounts. Next, tap on the email account you would like to remove.

2. Tap Remove account. To confirm, tap Remove account a second time. Add the email account again, and then try to send another email.

3. If you are still unable to send an email, contact your email service provider for assistance.

 

PROBLEM 2:

Can't receive emails on the phone

 

SOLUTION 2:.

If your phone is not receiving emails, please perform the following:

1. Check to see if you are connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile data network on your phone. To do this, open an internet browser to see if you have internet access.

2. Check email sync settings. Navigate to and open Email. Tap Menu (the three horizontal lines)and then tap Settings. Select an account, and check if the Sync account feature is turned on.

3. Adjust the email sync schedule. Swipe to and tap Sync schedule, and then tap Set Sync schedule. From there, adjust the email sync schedule.

4. If your phone is still not receiving emails, contact your email service provider for assistance.
