PROBLEM:
Low storage space error on Samsung phone
SOLUTION:
Running out of storage space can have a lot of different effects on the performance of a device, such as crashes, errors, and general sluggishness. Once you free up some storage space, your phone will go back to normal.
1. Use the included storage tools. There are some built-in tools that can help make more space on your device.
- An easy way of clearing space is syncing photos to a cloud service.
- Device care can clean up unnecessary files, and suggests other items that can be removed.
Some carriers offer their own cloud services, and there are many other apps and services available on the Galaxy Store or the Google Play Store.
2. Move files to an SD card. The My Files app will help you manage your storage.
3. Uninstall unnecessary apps. You can free up space on your device by uninstalling apps that you do not use frequently. Keep in mind that some carrier and preloaded apps cannot be uninstalled.
To uninstall an app, locate the app on your device, and then touch and hold it. Next, tap Uninstall and confirm by tapping OK. The app will now be uninstalled.
