Note: With so many important files on your phone or tablet, it is imperative to back up your data. That way, you will not have to worry if anything ever happens to your phone or tablet. Plus, once the data is backed up, restoring the data to any other device will be incredibly easy and hassle free.

PROBLEM 1:

Back up and restore using Google

SOLUTION :

Google is a great option to back up and restore your data.

Open Settings, and then tap Accounts and backup. Tap Backup and restore, and then tap the switch next to Back up my data under Google account. If prompted, sign in using your Google account credentials. Your data will be automatically backed up to your Google Drive.

You can also back up manually by tapping Google Account, and then tapping Back up now.

To restore your data, tap the switch next to Automatic restore under Google account.

PROBLEM 2:

Back up and restore using Smart Switch on a computer

SOLUTION :

You can also create a backup on a computer using the Smart Switch app.

First, make sure you have Smart Switch downloaded on your computer. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable, and then tap Allow on your phone. Next, navigate to and open Smart Switch on your computer, and then select Backup. Your computer will automatically start backing up the data of your phone, which may take several minutes.

When it is done, a screen will appear informing you it is complete. Select OK.

To download the backup you made onto a phone, follow the same instructions above but select Restore instead of Backup. Everything in the backup you made will be restored on the connected device.
