Note: If you are having issues with an app, or multiple apps, there are a few things you can try to resolve the problem. Clearing the app cache, updating the app, rebooting your device, and updating your software are just a few of the things that may help. If you continue to experience the issue after troubleshooting, contact the app developer for further support.

Check for software updates
SOLUTION 1:
Go to Settings > Software update > Check
for updates.
If an update is available, follow the instructions
to install it.

Optimize your phone or tablet with Device Care
SOLUTION 2:
Go to Settings > Device care > Optimize
now.
Use the problematic app to check if the issue
persists.

3:
Uninstall and reinstall apps on the phone or
tablet
SOLUTION 3:
Remove the app from your device (from app drawer,
touch and hold app icon > Uninstall).
Reinstall the app from the Play Store or Galaxy
Store.

Reboot the phone or tablet
SOLUTION 4:
Press and hold Power key > Power off.
Wait 30 seconds, then press and hold Power
key to turn it back on.
Test the device after restarting.

Perform a factory data reset on your phone
or tablet
SOLUTION 5:
WARNING: This will erase all data and settings.
Back up your data first using Smart Switch or a cloud account. Write down usernames
and passwords.
Go to Settings > Factory data reset >
Factory data reset > Reset.
Follow the instructions and provide necessary
passwords.
Complete initial setup after the reset.
Test the device without additional apps installed.
