PROBLEM :

App icon badges are not appearing on Samsung phone

SOLUTION :

An icon badge displays as a small circle or a number on the corner of an app icon. Badges are based on notifications - if an app has one or more notifications, it will have a badge. Some apps will combine multiple notifications into one, and may only show the number 1. Other times, the badge may go away if you clear your notifications.

1. Open Settings, and then tap Apps. Select your desired app, and then tap Notifications.
   
   
2. Tap the different switches for available notifications from the app. Then, tap the switch next to App icon badges.

Note: Icon badges are only supported by the One UI Home launcher. If you are using an alternative launcher, badges may not be supported.
