PROBLEM 1: Merge duplicate contacts on a Samsung phone or tablet

SOLUTION 1:

Duplicate contacts may appear on your phone when you sync contacts from multiple sources. You can merge duplicate contacts, or you can select the source you would like to view contacts from.

• To merge duplicate contacts, open the Contacts app, and then tap Menu (the three horizontal lines). Tap Manage contacts, and then tap Merge contacts. Select the contacts you want to merge, and then tap Merge.
  
  
• To select a specific contact list, open the Contacts app, and then tap Menu (the three horizontal lines). Tap the dropdown menu at the top of the screen, and then choose your desired source for contacts, such as All contacts or Samsung account.
