PROBLEM 1:
Charge the phone
SOLUTION 1:
Before you start charging, make sure you are using the correct charger for your phone. When you are ready, all it takes is a few easy steps to get your phone charging at top speed.
- Insert the USB cable into the USB port on your phone. Make sure the USB cable is connected to the charging adapter, and then plug the adapter into a standard outlet.
- For the fastest charging time, plug the charger directly into a power outlet. Plugging the USB cable into a computer or another device will lengthen the charging time.
- When your phone is done charging, unplug the charger from the phone and the adapter from the wall.
If your fast charger does not work at all, it should be replaced. If it is under warranty, you can request service. If not, you will need to purchase a new one.
PROBLEM 2:
Turn on fast charging
SOLUTION 1:
When you plug in a Samsung Fast Charger, your phone will automatically turn on the Fast cable charging feature. This feature should be on by default, but here is how to turn it on manually:
- Open Settings, and then tap Device care.
- Tap Battery, and then tap Charging.
- Tap the switch next to Fast charging.
- If Super fast charging is available, you can tap the switch next to it for even faster charging. However, this option is only available if you have a 45W Samsung-certified charger.
Note: You cannot use the fast charging feature when you are using a standard charger. It needs to be a Samsung-approved Adaptive Fast Charger.
