Back up data with Samsung Cloud

 

Solution 1: Sync your data

Steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Samsung Cloud
  2. Tap More options (three vertical dots) > Settings
  3. Tap Sync and auto backup settings > Sync tab
  4. Turn on/off auto sync for desired apps (e.g., Contacts, Calendar)
  5. To manually sync, tap Sync now
  6. For auto back up, enable under Auto back up tab

 

Solution 2: Create a backup and restore your data

Backup steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Samsung Cloud
  2. Tap Back up this phone
  3. Choose content to back up or tap Select all
  4. Tap Back up
  5. Wait for completion, then tap Done

 

Restore steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Backup and restore
  2. Tap Restore data
  3. Select desired device and content to restore
  4. Tap Restore
  5. Follow on-screen instructions to download backup data if needed

 

Solution 3: Sync your photos from Gallery

Steps:

  1. Open Gallery app
  2. Tap More options (three vertical dots) > Cloud sync
  3. Agree to Terms and Service
  4. Tap Connect > Connect accounts
  5. Sign in with Microsoft account
  6. Accept connection info
  7. Select free option > Get 10GB for free for 1 year > Accept
  8. Tap Done; photos and videos will now sync with OneDrive
  9. Download files from OneDrive app or website when needed
