PROBLEM:

Voice assistant or Hey Google is not working

SOLUTION:

Ensure the AI assistant feature is enabled on your Galaxy phone by following these steps:

Open Settings.

Search for and select Device assistance app.

Choose Default assistance app > Google > OK.

Tap Back, then edit preferences via the Settings gear next to "Device assistance app."

If the voice assistant still doesn't work, try clearing its cache or data (resets settings).
