Why isn't my controller charging when connected to my mobile device's USB cable?

 

Answer:

To charge your controller, you must use the dedicated USB cable that came with it. This means that the USB cable included in the controller package is specifically designed for this purpose and cannot be replaced by another cable such as the one provided with your Samsung mobile device. Similarly, the USB cable from the controller package is exclusively meant for the controller and won't work with other chargers or devices.

 

When charging the controller or power bank, connect the Micro-USB end to the lower port at the top of the controller, then plug the Standard USB end into any powered USB source using the provided 6.6ft (2 m) USB cable.

 

Terms:

 

Dedicated USB cable - A special cable that comes with the controller for charging purposes.

Micro-USB end - The small connector on the cable that fits into the controller.

Standard USB end - The larger connector on the cable that plugs into a USB source.
