If you are experiencing issues with unclear and distorted gameplay audio, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check your internet connection (LTE, 5G, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, or 5GHz Wi-Fi). For optimal performance, Game Pass Provider Microsoft recommends using LTE, 5G, or 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. If you are currently connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, switch to a faster one.
  2. If your device is already connected to an LTE, 5G, or 5GHz Wi-Fi network, use a network benchmark tool to test your bandwidth and ping values.
  • If the results show Bandwidth <= 5.5Mbps or Ping > 60ms, contact your internet service provider, as this indicates slower network speeds.
  • If the results show Bandwidth >= 5.5Mbps and Ping <=60ms, try checking whether the same issue occurs on another device.
