Question:

How to fix the unclear and broken screen issue on Xbox Game Pass?

Answer:

If you experience the symptom that game screen is not clear and broken, please check the following steps.

1. Check the wireless network environment that your device is connected(i.e. LTE, 5G, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, 5GHz Wi-Fi).

For the best user experience, Game Pass Provider Microsoft CO recommends to connect LTE, 5G and 5GHz Wi-Fi network.

So if your current network is based on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, you're required to reconnect to network that supports faster speed not 2.4GHz.

2. If your device is already connected to LTE, 5G and 5GHz Wi-Fi network, please check the Bandwidth and Ping value of current network using network benchmark program.

 A) In case that the output value is Bandwidth <= 5.5mbps or Ping > 60ms, it's the issue of network provider as it means network

speed itself is low. Thus, please contact to your network provider.

 B) In case that the output value is Bandwidth >= 5.5mbps and Ping <=60ms, you need to check if same symptom appears on other

     device as well.

    • If same symptom also appears on other device, it's the issue of network provider. Please contact to your network provider.
    • If the symptom doesn't appear on other device, please contact Microsoft's CS channel for assistance.

To do this, on Game pass app, tap Give feedback > Report a problem > Select common category > Enter your problem > Submit.   Or you can go to https://support.xbox.com/help
