 Question:
My phone call audio is unclear and crackling
on my Galaxy S20 FE. What should I do?

Answer:
Firstly, check if you're using an approved
screen protector accessory on your Galaxy Note20/Note20 Ultra. Some unapproved
protectors may cover the camera or flash, causing blocked air paths inside the
device, leading to unclear or broken call audio. Avoid using unapproved accessories,
as they might affect performance and void warranties.
Also, ensure no protective vinyl is blocking
the microphone hole. Completely remove the protective vinyl from the device
to prevent unclear call audio.
Be cautious when applying a protective film
or glass with a hardener. Prevent the hardener from flowing into the receiver,
external keys, or jacks to avoid damaging the device and experiencing abnormal
call audio.
If your device was exposed to water, it may
cause unclear call audio due to water entering the speaker hole. Gently wipe
the device with a soft, dry cloth and allow it to dry fully before using it
again. Shake the device gently with the speaker facing down to remove excess
water. If moisture remains on the mesh in front of the speaker, try making a
call for a while, as the speaker's vibrations can remove the moisture.
If none of these solutions work, visit a Samsung
Service Center for assistance.
