Why does the preview screen quality seem to vary with different zoom ratios?

Answer:

Galaxy S20 FE device uses other camera(the Ultra Wide lens or Wide lens) to implement wide angle depending on zoom ratio and so you may feel the preview quality differently due to difference in characteristics and specification between the two cameras.

This is a normal operation and does not affect to device lifespan and performance.
