Question:

Why does the zoom guide map on my Galaxy S20 FE camera seem to focus on a different area than the actual camera preview when zooming in?

Answer:

When zooming in on the Galaxy S20 FE camera, the zoom guide map indicates the area being focused on based on the wide camera's view. However, the camera preview you see on the screen is actually being operated by the telephoto camera. Since each camera has its own unique specifications, there might be slight differences in the locations between the zoom map and the camera preview. To adjust the area you're zooming into, try spreading two fingers apart on the screen to zoom in or pinching to zoom out. Alternatively, you can also drag the lens selection icon to the left or right.
