Question:
How do I use the Quick Share feature?
Answer:
To use the Quick Share feature, follow these
steps:
Ensure both sending (Galaxy with Android 10
OS) and receiving devices support Wi-Fi direct and have Wi-Fi turned on.
Share content with nearby devices via Wi-Fi
Direct or Bluetooth, or with SmartThings supported devices.
If the person you want to share with isn't
showing up, ensure their device has Quick Share or Phone visibility turned on
in the quick panel, and their screen is on.
Incurring additional charges when sharing files
via the mobile network is possible.
Launch the Gallery app and select an image.
On the other device, open the notification
panel, swipe downwards, and then tap Quick Share to activate it.
Tap and select a device to transfer the image
to.
Accept the file transfer request on the other
device.
For sending files to supported SmartThings
devices, files will be temporarily uploaded to Samsung Cloud, then streamed
to the device. Ensure the device is turned on before sending. You can send up
to 1GB at one time and a maximum of 2GB per day.
