How do I use and adjust the brightness of the
flashlight on my Galaxy phone?
Answer
- To use the flashlight, swipe down from
the top of the screen using two fingers to open the Quick settings panel.
- Tap the Flashlight icon to turn the light
on or off.
- To adjust the flashlight brightness, tap
the word 'Flashlight' (below the icon) in the Quick settings panel.
- Turn on the flashlight by tapping the
switch, and then move the slider to change the brightness level.
- Note: The brightness slider will be grayed
out if you do not turn on the flashlight first.

- Galaxy phone - A type of smartphone made
by Samsung.
- Camera LED - Light Emitting Diode that
emits light for the camera and flashlight.
- Quick settings panel - A menu accessed
by swiping down from the top of the screen containing commonly used settings.
