PROBLEM 1: Basic Wi-Fi troubleshooting on a phone

SOLUTION 1:

  1. Remove cases and accessories from your phone.
  2. Reboot your device by pressing and holding the Power key or tapping the Power icon in the Quick settings panel. Tap Power off twice to confirm, and wait for 30 seconds before turning it back on.
  3. Check if Wi-Fi is enabled. Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi. If Wi-Fi is off, turn it on.
  4. Verify AP/Router settings if no Wi-Fi networks appear. Reset your AP/Router by removing its power cable for 30 seconds (or using the power switch if available).
  5. Ensure your AP/Router is broadcasting the network SSID, or add your network manually if it's not broadcasting.
  6. Select your network and attempt to connect again.
