Question:

My Secure Folder isn't working correctly after updating my Galaxy Note 9 to Android Q (10). What's causing this?

Answer:

After updating to Android Q (10), some users are experiencing issues with their Secure Folders, showing "Incorrect PIN entered." This is due to a known software problem that Samsung is addressing. To resolve this issue:

Check for new software updates regularly on your device.

Use Smart Switch on your PC to search for updates.

As a temporary solution, follow these steps:

a. Go to Settings > Lock screen > Screen lock type > PIN.

b. Enter your PIN and select Confirm PIN without tapping OK.

c. Tap Save.
