Android Pie 9.0 schedule update

The following models were eligible for the Android Pie 9.0 update and should have received them during the following times:

• Note9: February 2019
• S9/S9+: January 2019
• Note8: February 2019
• S8/S8+: March 2019
• A8 2018: April 2019
• J3 2018 (J337W): July 2019
• Tab A 10.5 (T597W): August 2019
• XCover4: September 2019
• Tab Active 2 (T387W): October 2019
• Tab A8.0 (T387W): November 2019

If any customer calls in to inquire about the update, then please give them the following instructions:

1. Navigate to and open Settings, and then swipe to and tap Software update or System update.
2. Tap Download update manually. If the latest software is already installed, this page will say so.

The AOD (Always On Display) setting with devices running Pie OS will default to the "Tap to show" option. If a customer wants to see the AOD on all the time, they need to change the setting.

1. Navigate to and open Settings, and then tap Lock screen.
2. Tap Always On Display, and then tap Show always.
