Question:

After updating my phone's operating system (OS) to Android 11, the icons for my Samsung Buds on the Bluetooth menu look different compared to the icons shown in some apps like Media, Devices, or SmartThings. Why is this happening?

Answer:

With the release of Android 11 (R OS), Samsung has made changes to the way their Buds products display icons in the Bluetooth menu. Now, all Samsung Buds share a common symbol in the Bluetooth menu to simplify the user experience. However, when using apps like Media, Devices, or SmartThings outside of the Bluetooth menu, you will still see specialized icons unique to each type of Samsung Buds product. This allows for easier identification of specific Buds devices within those apps.
